Caption: A simple crane is being used to raise an upright into position on the concrete ship 'Cretemanor'. The contract was awarded due to the lack of steel for building ships during World War I. When the War finished the yard declined. A second ship, the 'Cretemoor', was launched in 1920, but the company sold the site leaving two unfinished barges, which were later demolished.
